Sir royale, you might hurt your tortoise if you put a little water in their food. Your tortoise's natural habitat is on semi arid lands which is south of the Sahara dessert and because of that, their bodies can conserve water extremely well. Too much water in their food may cause kidney failure later on. Try to check on the cabbage coz they seem to have high oxalate (i hope I am right) which binds with calcium, as a result, they may loss calcium in their bodies necessary for strong shell. so do not routinely feed them with cabbage.

I got two tortoises at home too.

@fiero19 - grabe ka lisod murag 5-6th clutch pani niya then 3rd clutch na ni hatch.. out of 30 ka eggs, 9 ray ni hatch... hay.. my goodness... lisod gyud e hatch...ang uban kay 2 ra or 5 eggs ray ni hatch

These tortoise could grow REALLY BIG.. FYI, these tortoise are the 3rd largest tortoise in world that you won't be able to carry an adult tortoise when they become adult. Adults can grow up to 2.5 feet long (or even larger depende sa care) and they weigh 200 pounds.

And by the way.. they will outlive their owners which makes them sooooo cool! Pwede pa i-inherit to the next generations.
