After soldiers' lives are killed in battle, Dick Gordon wants to cheapen their sacrifice by granting the Abus amnesty. Do that and field-grade officers are going to mutiny once again. This time out, no one will hold it against them.

Dick Gordon pirmi lang nagpa papel. He must've felt so left out when first Notter and then Vagni were freed without his knowledge. Now he's trying to insinuate himself into the picture once again, trying to be part of the solution. Just because Parad and company are his textmates shouldn't be reason for Gordon to lobby for their safe conduct.

Yeah right, Dick. Go home to Subic. Perhaps you can still work wonders there, but please leave the southern Mindanao problem to those who know better.

Ok ra if they can promise that they surrender and renew their way of life. Amnesty is not really the best reward. But if they can commit with the fullest of their hearts, then I will vote for it ... promise sa bato ug kasing kasin

our gov't should not in any way negotiate with terrorists like the ASG in the first place...unless it is something like a member squealing information to the gov't and being given witness protection or something like that.
