but if you previously own an 8800GTS/9800GTX, do you think its still a hands-down decision?

^from an 8800GTS?( G90? or G92? ) from a 9800GTX? no, since that won't be upgrading...but the ts is choosing between the 9800GT and the GTS 250, that's why said go for the GTS 250.
in my opinion from 9800GT to GTS250 isn't worth it still, andz recommendation of GTX 260 is the best way to go. with 9800GT and GTS 250, almost the same GPU with slightly faster clockspeed, adto nalang diretso sa 260 para klaro nga upgrade.
9800GT to GTS 250 is like 8600GT to 8600GTS...wa kaayo'y difference.
**edit**
mura exaggerated ra akong analogy pero i hope you get the point.

hehe, we'll we got our own preference,...and point taken. What would you suggest then from the ATI line?
the GTS 250 is equal to if not faster than the HD 4850.
i didn't include crysis since its optimized for nvidia and so as mirror's edge
"hulat na lng bay for **** (next model)" or "dugangi na lng gamay imo budget.."
TV size doesn't matter, resolution does. I doubt your TV can output anything more than 720p. TVs above 720p at that small size rarely exist.
