Who will vote for Mayor Tom for Governor for the Province of Cebu?

he's a good mayor, but i cant see him as the governor of the province. no, i wont vote for him.

Tommy? hmmm, maybe...if he and a bunch of allies in congress would then do either of the two:

make Cebu City part of Cebu Province again

OR

amalgamate the cities and municipalities of Metro Cebu into a single, and separate entity from the province (i.e. Cebu Special City / Cebu City Province--just like the Tokyo Region)

Why not just combine the 3 Highly Urbanized Cities (Cebu CIty, Mandaue City and Lapu-Lapu City) into one city? They would maybe one of the largest and most influential cities in the Philippines.

Or maybe allow Cebu City to eat up Cordova to ease the growing competition between Cordova's neighboring highly urbanized city of Lapu-Lapu City.

Totally agree with this. I won't vote for him for governor.
BUT, i believe Tomas would make a very good congressman in either of the cebu city districts. He'll be a good lawmaker considering his attitude.

Dire sa Cebu hawud si Tomas kay Osmena fanatic gud mga tawo dire. Pero ug adtu na sa congress, di siya pwede manghawud kay lat-an gihapon siya sa mga Garcia. People here still doesn't realize how powerful the Garcias' are in the House of the Representatives. Ma congressman man gani si Tomas, its either he will have to bahag his ikog or he will play it tough like he is the mayor of Cebu and have so many enemies. Daghan siya ug ikakontra sa Congress kay sa ako nang giingon ang personality ni Tomas buot ug way silinganay.
