    i was able to open my old cd-rom using a paper clip. pero pag butang nako balik og power, dili na sab siya mo open. mura naa ni naka-ongot niya.

    ako sa ni experimentohan.

    Bro, try to look for an extra known good power supply then remove for the meantime your CD-ROM drive out from you housing. short the green & one of the black wires of the PSU thru connecting a small wire you have available then plug in the 4 pins connector to your CD-ROM drive. Once the power supply is plug in on the AC outlet, try to press the eject button on the Cd-ROM drive & observe if it will works fine.

    Try also to check the CD tray faceplate if it's properly fitted to the drive, this may sometimes cause the tray in/tray out lock up problem for eject button. Other than this it's a hardware failure possible...it's time to contact your reseller if you still have a warranty for RMA process...goodluck!

    hehehehehe suwayig duot ang bios sa inyo CD ROM mostly mao ra nay problima basta naka socket..or remove then insert sag balik ang BIOS pero kong naka solder patay ta ana kinahanglan nag i reflash, pero di tanan ha suwayi lang ninyo.

    yes, ang BIOS chip sa imo CD-ROM drive naa na sa imo CD drive board sa iyang PCB mismo. Kay kong loader ang problima makita man na nimo. Mahibal an sad nimo sa blinking sa iya LED bro.

    @MRSWAVE: yup ako na na gibuhat... wala jud ni eject, ako gibungkag kadugayan ni eject pero wala pa ko ka trace onsa jud hinongdan.

    @baculaw73: bai kong mag reflash ta... naa d i available nga file para i-flash?

    sa manufacturer na makuha ambot lang kong ila ba sad ipanghatag, unsa mai brand sa imo CD-ROM? basig kita ko dri i send lang nako nimo. Pero maylag naa sad kai BIOS Flasher diha.

    FK, sakto ng ingon ni bakulaw kung kamao ka ngita asa ang BIOS sa CDROM, ader option of ur CDROM :
    * e check ang push button kung ok ba?
    * e check ang motor nga nagcontrol sa tray basin tanggal ang wire
    * e check ang tray&slider kung wa magtakilid, then salsala maayo butange gamay padanlog.... hhhhahhhhh
