    blah blah blah...Globe kutob ra mo yayaw. marketing gigs. but in reality atay na lang sad. I switched over to PLDT. for 3 years I was a globe DSL subscriber with phone land line. But lately hinay kau sila, daghan downtime and most of all nag implement sila ug transparent proxy sa mga home subscriber.

    If you don't know what's transparent proxy, it's a caching gateway nga mo cache sa imo web browsing contents then mo reklamo ang mga sites nga strict ug IP client like rapidshare dli mo makadownload dayon. If mogamit mo ug transparent proxy ok ra gyud na pero dili lang unta compulsory. Then it means hinay na inyo DSL tungod daghan na subscriber.

    Im also working in an IT company, we have globe and PLDT E1, ang globe sige ug ka down dili pa gyud responsive ila customer service.

    Ang solution kay mao ni:

    1. Try ang IP address starting with 120.xxx.xxx kung browsing, Torrent download, ug duwa sa Garena sa Bayantel ROoms

    2. Try 112.xxx.xxx kung sa Singapore ROoms ka magduwa sa Garena

    3. Port forward your ports *Guaranteed full speed ka sa torrent

    4. Kung 120.xxx.xxx imo gamiton mawala ang proxy *gamit ni para sa rapidshare downloaders

    5. In terms of customer service ok ra man sila kay 1-3 days maayo na...although mas maayo ra gihapon ang bayantel kay 1 day ra gud guaranteed maayo kay kung dili naa 500 rebate sa bill

    Note: Kung ang imo IP address starts with 203,124 etc luoy gud ka, mao na dapat kabalo ka unsaon pag disconnect ug reconnect hangtud makuha ang sakto na IP address. Ang pinaka simple kay pagnga ang modem, wait 10 secs, reconnect then visit speedtest.net para mahibawan unsa na ang imo IP address. Kung kabalo ka mo access sa GUI sa modem mas sayon, Type 192.168.1.1/globe or 192.168.1.1 sa Address bar sa Internet explorer/firefox or any internet browser

    BTW, wired DSL ko @ 1mb...wala ko kasuway sa wireless

    naa diha kung unsa gud ang GPON technology...ang 100mb sa japan ang ila gamit kay EPON (Ethernet Passive Optical Network) man to, mas bag-o ang GPON kay gigabit naman kaya na ang 2.5G download and 1.25G upload if tuyoon sa globe
