My favorate torrent site gi raid. thepiratebay.org![]()
LOL piratebay, it was a matter of time before they got closed because they boasted that they were "untouchable" LOL. For me piratebay is so "f*ck*d" up since daghan kaayong mga "false torrents" and "virus/trojan" torrents". LOLOriginally Posted by giovanni
I'm not so sure about that. They might post stuff faster but then the seeder to leecher ratio is never that good--even if you stay away from that particular torrent for a while. In private ones, initial seeder to leecher is bad (what's new) but give it a couple of minutes and bam! You'd be maxing out your download bandwidth again.Originally Posted by EarlZ

On common softwares,Movies and TV eps public ones are apparently equal compared to private ones, im not even sure what are the real benefits of joining private torrent sites ( like TB or FL ) as semi-private torrents such as Rvtt and ST are as good as them.Originally Posted by Zerone_null
There is ONE public torrent site (not NT which I foresee to decline since PirateBay is out of the picture), which can almost match TL or TB and is better than Rvtt/Rt, ST or any of those newer private torrent sites in terms of inital superseeders and the release time. Those newer private torrent sites only have one or two initial superseeders.Originally Posted by EarlZ

Well on freaky connection days (like last night when I got a whopping 530+ KB/s download bandwidth) I still managed to max it out and downloaded Episode One (HL2) which is about 1.x Gb by the time I finished the FlameIt burger I was consuming. Never gets to that point in public or semi-private sites. Now, if one were from the Philippines and mainitaning anything less than a 1mbps connection then the difference (although still there) is negligible. Now, the torrent fans of our country doesn't even compare to that from other countries with much more generous ISP-given bandwidths. IF I were to have that freak of a connection last night every night--I'd see a lot more sense going to torrent sites with better seeder to leecher ratio. Don't you think so too?
