the creator of zeitgeist has actually moved away from the conspiracy stuff and is now focusing on solutions.

If you have watched Zeitgeist:addendum, the story of stuff, The money masters, the corporation
    the future of food

you can begin to connect the dots as to why our society is the way it is. I'm sure those of you that are in the social sciences are already familiar with this information. the creator of the zeitgeist films did not want this movie to be considered as absolute truth. He encourages the viewer to be critical thinkers... to break through the social conditioning and the mass brainwashing.

As for religion and faith. The fact that religion is a tool for social control is enough for me to understand that it's mostly B.S.

You can copy and paste all day. I know what faith means. The question is do you? If you did, you wouldn't question it. The quacks and know-it-all atheists in the Spirituality board already do that.

It depends on how do you define faith

I do agree that faith ( religious faith / supernatural ) cannot be disproved because it is a metaphysical characteristic, and disproving that faith is like disproving an idea

You can always prove that faith exist but you can put to a test that it is right

We are going around in circles. So I'm going to post one more time.

It DOES NOT matter how one defines faith. Faith is faith. If one has true faith in a belief, they don't question it, and no one, including you has any right to trample or intrude upon their faith. It is faith, you have yours, I have mine, everyone has theirs. The problem with atheist fanatics is they are so full of themselves and their ambiguity that they forget that the very basis of their views were once called and the very basis of religion (ie gravity, the sun, the moon, the planets, the universe, the brain). This is the very problem with documentaries and movies like this, their arguments are irrelevant and only sway those with a very weak sense of faith.

People have a right to believe whatever they like, including irrational beliefs. In fact, we all have irrational beliefs, in a certain sense. We have to.

I'm not asserting mines to those who belief in their faith

hey, hey guys, let's all cool down a bit. the purpose of this thread is to provide anyone space to air each of their own perspective on various issues covered by documentary films that have been cropping up as of late. now the major hot issue us guys seem to be putting all our focus on is on religion & faith in general.

please lets keep our minds open for constructive discussion & not make this some kind of a headbutting melee of sorts. i think the best rule for us to be guided with is RESPECT MY VIEWS, I'LL RESPECT YOURS. let's not try & impose upon each other, but rather help each other evaluate further the grounds upon which we presently stand. & draw our own conclusions from there.

should we stand firm on each of our own reasoning &/or beliefs, well & good. let's just leave it up to ourselves to cash in on the truth, no matter which we acknowledge, & just keep sharing thoughts & ideas with one intention. and that is : to further each & every one of us with these issues & information.

    peace bros!!!
