i have watched the movie. mas naganahan ko when i found out that rizal's novel was kind of inspired by the book .

yup...mao kono ni ang favorite book ni rizal.....

rizal's favorite book is count of monte cristo.. iya g.sunod ang plot.. pareha ato ng disguise c edmond as the count.. c ibarra ng disguise pud as a wealthy businessman..

my fave line sa movie is.. emperor and pawns.. traitors and fools.

I've watched this movie a couple of times.. and it amazes me how Edmond manage to rise up from what he have struggled..

a very inspiring movie and yes, it is Rizal's favorite book.
