Europe Tour with Pics

My parents just arrived from a 2 week Euro tour and I can post pix for you if you wish . They went to Germany , Netehrlands , Rome , France and Switzerland . I will stories when I will post the pictures and give you advices so what happened to them will not hapened to you but its nothing of a bad experience or I guessed I will just post it after I get scanned .

@enlighten..sagdi lang moa abot ra sad imong panahon ug laag..in the mean time enjoy Europe vicariously lang usa through our eyes ako bitten by travel bug man...so grabe jud ko na ka explore and i have not regretted it....

start ta sa Paris kay apil man ni sa imong wish list...i will post 3 pictures today...

1st picture - stained glass window sa St Chapelle...nindot kaayo ni nga church ..gamay lang pero 360 degrees ang stained glass windows....i sat there and mora ko nag basa ug comics...kay ang bible stories flashed before my eyes as the sun moved....

2nd picture - Arch D Triomphe...one of the famous landmarks of Paris...self explanatory na ni diba...

3rd picture - OMG sus giant Louis Vuitton bag!! Unsaon no woman can resist shopping man siguro...so in one of my lakaw2...kit-an jud nako ang LV shop.....pero niagi ra ko ha...di man tawn ko ka afford ana nga bag

@enlighten, I haven't been to Sweden or Switzerland but I've been to the other 3 places you've mentioned. Of the 3, I would say Paris is #1, Rome #2 and Venice #3. I was kinda disappointed with Venice, after you get over with the canals and gondolas, there really isn't much else to do. Of course the place is romantic and picturesque but after a few hundred pics, I got bored. Rome is nice and has a lot to offer, from the Roman ruins to the Vatican. Paris is huge, I could spend a month there and still miss a lot of good spots. The Louvre alone will take you days to really go thru all exhibits. Maybe in a year or so, I will go to Europe again. Keep on saving, someday you'll have enough money to go there and eventually say that it's worth it.

@Gwynhuever, St. Chapelle is my favorite little chapel there. The stained glass windows are stunning!

@laagan....parehas ta oi...nahan ayo ko st chapelle....and i agree with the louvre....i only had a day in paris so wala ko nag tuga2 sulod sa louvre kay ma alanganin ko! sa museo d orssay (mao ba na spelling?) lang ko nisulod...lingaw sad ko kaayo kay daghna Monet paintings...favorite man na nako na artist...

naka suroy sad ko sa italy...pero not venice or rome....didto lang ko sa milan area....puhon kon maka tigom plano mi sa ako hubby visit sa Rome....

@Gwynhuever, it is musée d'orsay. Another interesting place to visit is Centre Pompidou. BTW, for travel tips to pretty much any "tourist" city in Europe, check out Rick Steve's books and video. He's the best. In Roma, I spent 2 days in the Vatican alone. Did the St. Peter's tour (walked all the way to the top). The Vatican museum is a must-see, among others.

@ Gwynhuever thanks for the pics I love it especially the LV giant bag sus dream sad na nako to have an LV bag unsaon mahal man au pero sa mga hapon mura lang barato kau ang Louise Vuitton kay kita ko one time sa ilang tv nya opening sa LV shop sos ang mga hapon naglaray jud taas kau ang linya para lang kasulod sa shop unya daghan kau ang mga bags nga gipangbitbit...

@laagan thanks for the info about venice well I do hope to get to venice one day post sad sa imong mga pics sa europe haron kita mi..unsaon kutob lang sa ko pictures ani...

Other than Brussels in Belgium and paris in France, wala pako ka suroy other part sa Europe coz mau raman near sa UK. Anyway, i need to get a schengen visa to visit more of Europe again coz the time we went there wala man ko Schengen but we went back door via old port in LOndon also sa una di pa kaayu strict in terms of schengen kay mau paman pag implement unlike now. And yes I love Paris, dang!

@ Enlighten, have you heared of the Transeberian railway where in you take train via Beijing, Mongolia, Moscow then from Moscow you fly to the nearest country in Europe? this is fast becoming a trend for the backpakers, more place to see and cheaper way of seeing them. If your not in a hurry you spend about 5-6days on the train. This is what we plan to do but needs budget oi so for now tigum lang usa gyud
