help! my dog eats its poop!!!

i just bought this shipoo 3 weeks ago... during the 1st tym it pooped in my haws, he licks it as if he is tasting a bit of it and eventually it became his habit... and worst he eventually ate all every time he poops!!! i have to follow him around 10 mins after he eats his meal and when he poops and eats it i spank his mouth... i dont know if this is effective but i tried giving him treats it still wont work
help!!!!!

hahaha na unsa ni mga iroa... ana ang vet abnormal jud daw na. hatagn daw ug treate after xa mu poopoo.. mau ang aku gibuhat pro kaonon japun nya =(

bai, e nud-nod ang nawng sa poop. mao na sulti sa mga katiguwangan. ambot lang effective ba.

Based from what I've read "Handbook of Applied Behavior and Training", some dogs eat poop because of the potential nutritional content. These might mean that your dog is lacking nutrition and supplemented its deficiency by eating others poop.

A dog knows how her body works. Same goes when a dog is not feeling well, and if you try to let her off, she'll eat grass.

Try to change your dog food lang sah daw or maybe change to a Lutong Bahay diet.

ga luya na pud xa karon... pag morning ni poo na xa. then pag lunch gamay ra gi eat. gi suka pa jud. then pag evening ni eat xa gamay wala pa jud xa nalibang til now. daku na kau iya tiyan. ga luya xa..
