    pero sa clock to clock boss gamay ra au difference oi..heheh

    @3.2 q6600

    speed:
    ddr2 1066 vs ddr2 800

    timings:
    5-5-5-15 vs 4-4-4-12

    voltage
    2.1v vs 1.8v

    price:
    2x2gb = P3700 vs 2x2gb = P2k

    pildi ang ako ram...hehe

    mau ni g ingon..bragging rights rajud ni....para ingnon nindot og specs...if naa lang 1066 nga kingston ai..ilis jud ko ba....pero if overclockability medyo naa pa cguro ma squeeze ako..wala pasad ko try oc ako memory karon...hehe

    ^ dili man pildi bro kay the amount of data you can move is increased at a slightly slower latency. mao ni kasagaran question sa uban nganong ang DDR3 tag-as ug latency (CAS; 7, 8, 9) pero there's calculation that confirms this.

    i'm not sure kung sakto ba, pero this is how i think it is:

    1066 x 8 = 8500 mega transfers tapos we sum your latency (delays) 5+5+5+15 = 30

    divide 8500 / 30 = 283

    now, we take a look at DDR2-800 which is;

    800 x 8 = 6400 mega transfers tapos sum up the latency (delay) 4+4+4+12 = 24

    divide 6400 / 24 = 266
    giahak uy, wa nagkadimao pero, my point is, it has the same delay but moves a lot more data.

    mau ni g ingon..bragging rights rajud ni....para ingnon nindot og specs...if naa lang 1066 nga kingston ai..ilis jud ko ba....pero if overclockability medyo naa pa cguro ma squeeze ako..wala pasad ko try oc ako memory karon...hehe
    another reason for getting a higher frequency memory is the amount of headroom for your overclock. we all know that the front-side bus is tied to the memory; if you increase the front-side bus, the memory frequency moves with it. sure, you can use a memory divider but you'll eventually run out of dividers as you increase the front-side bus. now, by getting a 1066 na memory, you can go as high as 533 on your FSB pero sadly, there's almost no point in getting a 1066 if you can only go as high as 400 on your FSB.

    sakit paminawn pero sakto - synthetic benchmark results doesn't really mean better real world performance.

    ganahan baya ta ko mupalit 1066 pero ganahan unta ko ddr2 800 nga CAS3

    @poldopunk: pahibaw lang ug asa. game rapud ko ana.

    IMO, gamay ra kaayo ang difference, but if 1066 rams were as cheap as 800's then id get the 1066 anytime.

    kita ra g ilad ani nila da...hehe huna2x lng sa tao nga kusog ila pc ky naka quad...lolz...

    mypa sa vcard i gasto..kakita paka og klaro nga performance increase....pareha sa ako sauna 7600gt dn sa current nako nga vc...maka ingon jud ko nga mau ni real difference...from low to mid settings ang 7600gt @1024 x 768 karon 1680x1050 dn high settings pa jud...hehe

    True, but when i work on an avg dualcore machine wala koy peace of mind nga ang CPU usage 100% nako most of the time... a quadcore ensures peace of mine and extra CPU power when needed. besides ang price gap sa dual ug quad grabi ra ka gamay when i bought my system.
