OT: people can't stand the heat. most people here kulang pa gyud maturity when it comes to forum discussions. debate/discuss the issue/s at length and keep the decorum. no hitting below the belt. follow the subject matter. if someone can't keep up that's the purpose of the complaint button.

i really think (discussions) are a good exercise for our reasoning capabilities. more so for us istoryans. para ta mo mature as a discussion forum. dili kay mo punit dayon ug bato basta ma pildi na sa lalis ug argumento, lol. right or wrong, present your case. express your opinion. & always always, remember that everyone is entitled to their opinion just as you are & everybody else. just like in a court sala, he who can present his case better, wins. right or wrong.

i don't see any warning on that thread prior to the closing, or maybe i just missed it. i don't think we'll ever get anywhere if threads like that gets closed too often. istoryans are not gonna learn to moderate their temper, learn to discuss objectively, keep their ego at bay, keep their emotions in check, if threads get closed just like that. that's where moderation comes in. it's all just virtual discussions anyways. what worst can come out of it? pero kung mao na ang wishes from those who's in power wala tay mahims.
