    Why PPPoE sucks man?

Depende man sa Plan kay naa uban Plan sa PLDT ga gamit ug username and password, like mag create pa ug dialer sa computer kung imo gamit modem and computer lang.

Kung naa ka router ka i delete ang imong dialer or select never dial a connection. Then i cancel ang imong dialer as default connection.

Ang username and password sa imo ISP adto na i type nimu sa router para siya na mo manage sa imo Internet connection mao na ang PPPoE.
nope. coz as what my friend said. sauna auto dial raman to...bale naka set na sa modem bale... ang ako lang.. basin inig reset nako ba...magkayagaw na nuon..hehehe...

i tried modem to router to pc... then input PPPoe setings sa router...but im not sure...suppose to be mu work cya right? kay ang router na mu dial...but it didnt work that way.

New platform jud. Here's a new platform ... always on DSL. PLDT is lucky it has the monopoly it has, everywhere in the world ... people talk about real new technology pushing 50-100MBps to residential homes .... Fiber, DOCSIS 3.0, WiMax.

Guys, im helping my friend with this.

The usual internet connection we have kay maka connect nata sa net inig connected sa local area network right? My friend experienced the same before but now dili na cya maka connect sa net. He asked someone from PLDT to help and he created a PPPoE dialer sa pc nya.

I try to access the modem page with no avail. bisag naka connected pa dialer or not. I called up the tech team and the agent said.... PLDT's New PLATFORM nga mu dial na gyud daw.

Bro sa ako na bantayan sa imo g-sulti, you said usual internet connection maka connect na if connected ang local area connection, at that time always on ang inyo internet (meaning no need to dial just plug it in then internet is there). If that is the case then ang imo modem ana naka set pana xa ato nga settings.

Then you said nga ni ingon ang PLDT to create a PPoE connection, so it would be a conflict na sa imo modem settings. I am assuming nga imo modem is set to always on internet. If you want to set your modem to PPoE try to follow this one PLDT MyDSL Modem Settings . Then connecting sa imo router imo na i set also as a PPoE then enter the needed username and password there.

Ang site for Zyxel lang pero same concept lang na sila just follow those things.

This test would be easier for you...

I connect imo computer sa modem then check kung naa Internet. Kung naa gani Internet, I check kung na ba dialer naka setup sa PC. How to check?

    guys, its like this...

before.perfectly working modem-> pc , inig ON sa pc..internet all the way

after experiencing some prob...pldt went to his home

and made a dialer instead. So modem -> pc.... you need to dial the pldt thing before you can net

i tried to input the PPPoE already sa linksys but it didnt work

Base sa mga reply sa uban, sakto pud sila.basin ang modem naka bridge... but i wasnt able to see the reset at the bottom or maybe i need to check twice...

but because of fear nga ako palang i blame kung di na mu work...ai nalang.hhehehe...

you need "Draytek" nga brand nga router. If kato murag dako nga mouse nga modem, then draytek imu kinhanlan. Has more functions than the Linksys router and has that dialer function. I don't know gi.unsa pag set up sa ako uncle, but yeah, with that thing, auto connect to internet without using the provided modem na. then I simply connect the draytek to the wifi then it's shared internet.=D

amo is globe and then using kato mouse looking modem. speed stream man cguro ghapon na. That's just my suggestion, based on the problem you presented. However, Medyo mas mahal gyud na kaysa Linksys. so check the website for more details.

Kung ga create ug dialer ang taga PLDT sa iyang PC definitely naka bridge ang modem.

Kung ga create ka ug PPPoE connection sa router make sure ang imong browser naka "Never dial a connection" or sa Network Connection i cancel ang dialer as default connection or better delete the dialer.

Pag create nimu ug PPPoE make sure correct imong username ug password nga gi butang sa router. Naa man way pag check kung dili sakto imong username ug password sa router but sa Linksys no idea. Sa D-Link router man gud makita nimu sa Logs kung dili gani sakto imo username or password naay naka butang adto nga "Sending PADT tag"

Try pud power cycle ang modem ug router.

Try pod change local IP address sa router.
