Taym pa ra gud. first things first. This is not a Garcia versus Osmeña thread. Mao bitaw this thread was started with the question "Is there an alternative?" kay ang managan mao ra gihapon, mga Garcias, Osmeña's and other traditional politicians. So palihug lang, this is not about Garcias and Osmeñas.

What I am suggesting is that we find somebody who can do better than both Alvin and Tom. I agree about starting with ourseleves. Yet naa gihapon daghan nga bisag unsaon nato pag amping, dili mosunod sa atong examples. Tan-awa ra gud ang Singapore, because seryoso ila government about disciplining their citizens, limpyo kaayo. MMDA under BF dako sad epekto sa Metro Manila.

We need a mayor who can compel the police to be serious about law enforcement and dili lax, who can compel the different barangays to better deliver basic services, to engage people's organizations in governance, and to discipline the people.

@omad: Sir so far ang akong nadunggan nga naay mga plano modagan mayor for Cebu City are Georgia Osmeña, Mike Rama, Winston Garcia, Jonathan Guardo and Mary Ann Delos Santos. Although Ive also heard MADS and Guardo might instead aim for congressional seats. and to me, no real alternative in sight

i'd go for mike rama... at least he has an idea na on how to properly run cebu.... unlike some people we could mention nga hala intawn! ohwell..

Honestly im a big fan of Tommy before..BUT after what i learned about the dealings he had with the Japanse investors during the SRP pre-developement stage..Maka-ingon gyud mo..pagka baga ug nawong sa mayor.

    Dont need to elaborate more.
