Mo ayo ka Laptop na Sony VAIO model: PCG-Z505LSK "sudden power-off". 2nd hand ni pagpalit nako and using this for almost 2 yrs. Ika slide nako sa botton switch, mo siga pa ug kadali ang power ug batt indicator. Sa imo banabana, ma salbar pa ni. Pm me and tks.

Good day istoryans and i know this is the right place to seek help!
this is quite a bit long story so here it goes....

i bought a P5GX-MX MOBO,160GB RAM, P4 3.2GHZ late last 2007, so its working fine with the XP installed on it however due to (my kakulitan!) i dont know anything regarding hardware of my pc i tried tinkering on it. i installed vista home premium(pirated edition) on it. and still it worked good.so then i bought late last nov 2008 ino3d 7200 256mb VC but then after installing it i started to have some problems.i used the pc with the new VC on it and had fun with the nice graphics instead of the sucky internal graphics on the board.however out of no where after using the PC for a few WEEKS hell came, one day i turned my PC on and i saw the AMI logo with the stuffs you see on DOS when u normaly boot up ur rig but then when i was waiting for the OS to come up(microsoft logo and the green bar running) but nothing came up.i know the monitor is turned on coz its not pitch black on the screen,its slightly lighter black(if theres a term to describe it).so first instinct is, reformat the entire crap and start a new one.then i did!i was happy for a couple of days!then again the same horror came.black screen without the OS loding up.did it again for a couple of tries reformatting it and i could use it for a couple of times then just in one day the entire thing wont boot up on the OS.it goes on the DOS screen but it wont go straight on the loading OS or the welcome screen.now i tried swapping the memory on the other slot but i guess its not detected coz the think wont display anything at all...
maybe, what im thinking memory problem,hdd problem....pero kung hdd cya mu sulod man sa vista pag ako i reformat and install...ang problema after pila ka uses mabuang na pd balik.hehehehe... i tried installing the windows xp os but it goes until the press any key to boot from cd or dvd... that note when i tried installing a different os..screen goes black if i press any key on the keyboard...sad to say i dont know if guba ang xp installer nako or dile.but i guess not kay ma detect man cya.dile lang mu unpack.lack of memmory maybe?

i resetted the cmos by pulling out the batter and putting it back again

update: i just again installed a fresh VISTA OS.lets see how it goes...if the black screen would come after some uses of this pc. additional xp os still wont go through installation after pressing any key to boot from cd or dvd i got a black screen....
what seems to be d problem...
pls diagnose and see if you could work arround this pc
if yes then where can i send it over and for how many days it would be repaired..
takenote: it works on vista os for quite sometime then goes back to black screen when i boot it again....funny huh! hehehehe...
