Hi Khymm, as far as I know the vaccine shots cost an estimated of 6,000 to 7,000 pesos we're talking about each shot here. And there should be 3 shots administered to a woman within six months.

Here are some tips provided by the Long Island surgical oncologist to reduce the risk of cervical cancer:

    1) Get a regular pap smear.
    2) Limit the amount of sexual partners you have.
    3) Quit smoking or avoid secondhand smoke.
    4) If you are sexually active, use a condom.
    5) Get the HPV vaccine. If you are under 27, you may be eligible to receive the HPV vaccine, which prevents high risk strains of HPV in women. The HPV vaccine, Gardasil, was approved by the FDA to give to young girls as young as 9. The vaccine is most effective when given to young women before they become sexually active.

there is no assurance nga ma fully prevent ka from Cervical Cancer kung magpa shots ka. pero at least there's hope nga maiwasan na nimo. ako for me i really need these shots jud, kay ako mom she was diagnosed for stage 3 cancer last year. That means hereditary. Pila ra man na ang gasto anang shots ba.
