there are many things that can be interpreted as a right move and a wrong move.. often times people misinterpret the wrong move as the right one..

Most guys would right jump in the 'water' first time they like a girl.. though there are seldom few who would like to 'test the water' for themselves first before jumping right in..

I think your guy falls for the latter. He is very patient and concise with his action and believes that every actions needs careful step by step preparations and planning. As they all say, All things come to those who wait..

Your guy IMHO may just be trying to make sure that if tries to profess his love for you, you would reciprocate his feeling.. , there are many who died because of the word - MALING AKALA.. your guy is just making sure he doesn't fall for that..

Just give him telltale signs also.. flirt but not overdo it.. show 'special care' and lovingly tease him, If the guy is really man enough to know that he likes you, he will open up his feelings for you soon enough.
