Golden Cowrie still good after all these years.... I was able to eat there not too long ago and it was still the way I remembered it, although little changes here and there but overall not too far.

Thumbs up for the Golden Cowrie , a truly Golden experience - more rice please ....

Hmmmm... just wondering. Last few times I've been to hukad/Golden Cowrie, the food was really ordinary, same quality as maid's cooking. Just to be sure, I asked other people how they found Golden Cowrie lately and they shared the same view. What has happened to our favorite restaurant?

I'm now avoiding GC/hukad and patronize Boosog and Cafe Laguna whenever I have a craving for Filipino food.
