Here's one that's really crazy:

A classmate of mine in gradeschool used to think that America is in Mars, China is in Jupiter, and Europe is in Saturn, etc. Wala'y binuang! We were in 6th grade then. Dili man siya intellectually challenged or unsa, innosentehon lang jud siya... Hehehe... Nasurprise pa siya pagkahibaw niya nga naa ra diay dire sa kalibutan ang America and all the other countries hehehe...

When I was small I also had this frightening belief that if I face the mirror in the middle of the night and pray the Hail Mary at least three times, I will see something horrific. Of course, I never dared to try it.
