my cousin had her honeymoon there.. truly worth it jud daw. so if el nido's truly wonderful, how much more for amanpulo dba.. hehe grabeh pud ang rates oi..makes u wanna wonder if mularga nalang ka out of the country hehe
well el nido is really the best and yes guys you are all correct there are always much easier and less expenssive ways to reach there. besides daghna pension houses na available you dont need to stay in a resort to do all those things
el nido is definitely breath-taking..
nindot gyud diay na diha. cge, magtigom usa ko para makaadto.
me too i heard alot of stories about EL NIDO and AMANPULO in palawan... i heard that Michael Jackson, Mariah Carey and Robert De Niro went there...though they came in like disguised...
magtigum pud ko para ani nga trip... i've always wanted to see how beautiful el nido is..
mga pila ang budget? approximate?
any ideas for backpackers budget? my friend and i is planning to be there soon.any usefull ideas please

check out these sites for ideas on where to stay and how to travel on a budget. The reason why most people think going to El Nido is expensive is because when you think of El Nido, the El Nido luxury resorts come to mind---Lagen and Miniloc Island Resorts. However if you just do the proper research, you might be able to find the right accommodations to suit your budget.

When in Palawan, i really recommend you try to make it to El Nido. The beaches in Puerto Princesa are nothing great at all and can't rival Bantayan or Malapascua. (although i went off-season, it might be a diff. story during the summertime) Stay one day in Puerto Princesa if only for the Underground River Tour with a pitstop at the Vietnamese village for dinner.
Travel Options to get to El Nido:
I think now there's a Cebu Pacific - Puerto Princesa flight then from there, either you tke the Sea Air flight to El Nido which leaves (during the time we went 2 years ago) every Tuesday and Friday only (i think, please just double check their website) OR for a least costly alternative, take the 8 hour bus ride from Puerto Princesa to El Nido.
