I tried using 4850 vs 9800gtx on my rig. Konte lng difference sa 9800gtx at sa 4850. around 900pts lng sa 3dmark06. Very Close match. sa price 9800gtx is around 13k+ and 4850 is 9k+. Panalo ang 4850. I mean ano nlng kya ang 4870 nito I expect 4870 better than 3870x2...

I believe much better ang single vcard and sing core vcard. My games na hindi talga 100% naga work ang dual GPU. and sa driver issues nya. Sa games dn. may mga games na mas better ang single card gamitn. Sa bench mark malakas talga ang score pero sa gaming talga makita ang difference nila. Better go for 4850-4870 or GTX260-GTX280. Single core vcard pero malakas.

Almost all games now works in crossfire. Due to driver updates and fixes. The crossfire scaling is even improved. Haven't found any games not working with crossfire recently with the latest drivers. I have been using crossfire for quite some time now without any problems.
Been playing Mass Effect and Gears of Wars and Assasin's creed recently. all maxed out at very stable 60fps -75fps w/ V-Sync on.

If you really want dual cards the best thing to suggest is dual HD4850. or wait for the HD4870x2 coming maybe later this august.

I think single 4870 is better then 3870x2.
But to really kick ass get a dual HD4850.
