The comparison here is between at 64bit memory bus of the 5500fx and the 128bit 9550 which 100% have the radeon ahead of the geforce.
Better get a good comparison with a 128bit memory bus of the 5500fx (which are available in the market today) compared with a 128bit 9550.
Maybe when this article was written in 2004 there was no 128bit 5500fx in the market.
I would still believe the radeon runs a lil bit faster than the geforce. but pricewise geforce is more expensive. I may compare geforce is intel and radeon is amd for the GPU market.
Just a thought.
in this benchmark, geforce 5500 is better than radeon 9550

livewire: sige lang ka ot ako post. if u dont have plans of getting my video card kai mahalan ka, ayaw lang sige reklamo. ur selling ur p4 set for 10t which for me is quite expensive, but i nver posted to complain about the price of ur items.
