I think it could only be classified as copyright infringement if and only if similar jud ang tanan including tones, notes, lyrics, content, and organization.... sa ilahang versions, naa may modification sa lyrics and lahi pud ang title.... mao cguro nga dili 'copyright infringement'...

i think it is still copyright infringement, they copy the melody and tunes of the music xcept for the lyrics and title which cant be copyrighted..

ug sa ilang gibuhat i think ila ra gi erase ang kanta sa tukar then gisapawan ug bisaya.. ^^

Pwede... pero sa present time karon, there are too many songs nga nag share og same melody and structures of notes... kanang common is G E C D nga pattern and kanang D A Bm G nga structure... lain lain ra ang beat.... but there are also some who SHARE the exact same beat and pattern.. an example is 'Chinita' nga pare pareho sa Japanese song 'Nanka Shiawase' (What Happiness) nga Intro sa Flame of Recca nga anime OST.... gamay ra kaayo ang lahi... pero note nga wala sila mademanda for copyright infringement..

In my opinion, if the EXACT same song was just copied and compiled in an album WITHOUT the permissions of the original composer, that reserves its right to infringement.... kay its like you are claiming to be the original composer of the song... There has to be a permit whatsoever before any revivals or revised versions will follow....
