open your cpu and look at your motherboard. ang battery kanang circle na silver. very much like the battery sa calculators. take it out and then replace. make sure nga pareho ang voltage specification sa imong new battery.

i see. your problem is your cmos battery. go to any shop, bring your mobo, buy a new battery, let those people change your battery and your done!.

@kenshinsasuke: i tried to cut off the floppy and save the settings but after i use the computer again, it will still look for the floppy coz the default settings were loaded and it will search for the floppy again...so its useless to cut the floppy.
