@blongkoy: mo-agree ko ana...i guess it works with any kind of cuisine...in order to re-create that authentic taste in a different country, one has to go through great pains to procure the right ingredients in the best state...plus there's the local palate that you have to satisfy, if you decide to stick to the original taste, it might not jive well with the locals, so you are forced to adjust, hence authenticity is lost...
thai food in cebu for example, could be too salty--to please the cebuanos love for food...while in the west, it coud be a bit sweet and not as spicy as the original...
