yeah... and i really thought Phoenix would get on the chase but they've been cut off without Kurt and Amare. So, another team would be... well, Denver Nuggets?Originally Posted by omad

San Antonio is extending their lead from Dallas with their win today. Dallas is on a 3 game losing skid, wa pa gani na sa playoffs. I believe Spurs will be the no.1 team in the Western Conference entering playoffs.
Looks like Spurs will be No.1 seed in the west.
San Antonio 95, Utah 86
Ginobili, Parker Lead Spurs Over Jazz
SALT LAKE CITY, April 4 (Ticker) -- Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili had the touch from the arc going against the Utah Jazz.
Ginobili scored 26 point and Parker added 23 and eight assists as the San Antonio Spurs posted a 95-86 triumph over the Jazz.
Parker's 3-pointer gave the Spurs a 84-71 advantage with 6 1/2 minutes remaining in the fourth quarter. But Utah stormed back to close within six points on a follow-up dunk by Andrei Kirilenko, who scored 13 points.
However, Bruce Bowen scored his only points of the game when he nailed a 3-pointer from the left corner to help the Spurs rebuild the lead to nine with 61 seconds left.
San Antonio's backcourt duo of Ginobili and Parker combined to make 7-of-10 shots from the arc.
All-Star Tim Duncan had 11 points and 13 rebounds and Michael Finley scored 13 points off the bench for San Antonio (58-16), which remained 2 1/2 games in front of Dallas for first place in the Southwest Division. The Spurs shot 45 percent (33-of-73).

Shut Up! Let your GAME do the talking!
i think its the dallas and the spurs who will be going up this season, just like the spurs and the suns last year. sad to say they might face each other in the second round. spurs-nuggets in the west finals? anthony might come up big, but duncan-parker-ginobili plus the experience will spell it for the spurs
Spurs - Mavs match-up is getting hotter heading into the play-offs with a very hard fought game between them today with the Mavs winning against the Spurs 92-86. I can't wait 'til the play-offs for these two to clash with their 2-2 standing in the regular season. what a game.
