Crop circles seem to spark a modernity flavor. That's why more and more people believe they can be achieved with somewhat easily (relatively speaking, of course).

But crop circles are nothing compared to the Nazca lines. Here are some:

To add up to this enigma, this spider drawn enlarged as viewed from the air is one if not the smallest species of spider which can only be clearly seen with a magnifying glass including its details...

does that mean that they already have the technology to create some form of microscope of lens way back in time?

My opinion. 95% man-made, 5% natural phenomenon.

re Nazca lines. There have been studies to prove that you don't need higher elevation (i.e. from the vantage point of a UFO) to create large drawings like this. With a little knowledge in basic trigo, you can translate a smaller image into a larger one, using a large crude "pantograph" system. Some scientists believe the Nazca Indians utilized something like this method.
