    ok, first
adto sa config sa inyong router (dapat kabalo mo sa password if not reset i dunno if ma reset na kay di man gud inana ako router, sa akong gf ra naka suway rako set up wa sad ko musuway ug reset bwehehe)

set inyong ip to 192.168.1.10 (kanang 10 diha any na), subnet mask 255.255.255.0, default gateway (192.168.1.1)(<-kasagaran default man 192.168.1.1, if di gani ato na ngitaan paagi pag ngita ana, mao ni ang address sa router)

sa mga di kamao asa na e set: settings->control panel->network connection then ryt click local area connection then choose properties, then double click tcp/ip

next ibutang inyong password, default ana murag
    Username: admin
    Password: 1234

kung kasud namo pislita nang WAN sa left
    ang mode dapat routing
    ang encapsulation kay ENET ENCAP
    multiplexing kay LLC
    VPI : 0
VCI : 100 (kani kay ilisdi ni unya kung way internet, either 100 or 35 ni sya murag depende sa lugar)
click obtain ip address then press apply

    next

    pislita ang LAN sa left
    adto sa DHCP setup

    DHCP: Server
IP Pool Starting Address: 192.168.1.100 (kani pwede ra sugod mo sa 192.168.1.2 ayaw lang sa 192.168.1.1 kay mao mana ang naa sa router na address)
Pool Size: 10 (kani ikaw bahala ani, unsa ka daghan imong computer sugtan, if 100 na sa taas then 10 ni meaning mga dawaton niya 192.168.1.100 hantud 192.168.1.110)

    press apply

kato sa left nasad pislita ang NAT
check ang active network address translation. pili-a SUA only

    press apply

    then sa left nasad
Maintenance / Tools / Restart, restart

then imong ip address sa imong local area connection change to obtain ip address automatically

then adto sa run type: cmd
then sa console type : ipconfig

if ip address nimo sa local area connection kay 192.168.1.100 na, very good, try dayun internet

ask lang nya for more question ambot klaro raba ni akong pag tudlo hehe, di kaau ko maau anang tutorials

    para connect padung sa switch

gikan sa router idritso sa switch

then sa switch na gikan ka mu connect, dritso nasad na.

    nope..just straight thru..

    or another way is

connect the dsl modem to the USB PORT..SHARE the internet connection...

    right my network places..properties...

right click the dsl connection..share it ( it will automatically change it's IP into 192.168.0.1 yet maka connect gihapon sa dsl provide..>>>dont manual set this ip sa host pc )

connect this PC thru lan to ur Surecom (EP808SX) 8-Port Ethernet Mini Switch maski asa na slot.

now.. have another cable..conect to ur client pc and to the Surecom (EP808SX) 8-Port Ethernet Mini Switch

...it shud have a lan of course!

    configure the IP into...192.168.0.2

    subnet ( automatic man ni ) 255.255.255.0

now ( this is important! ) set ur default gateway to ( host ip ) 192.168.0.1

    human...

u may maximize ur 8port...just configure the client IPs

    enjoy!

    tested nako ni...

I have tried this one last night. I didn't configure anything in the modem. Direcho ra... DSL line to Modem. Modem to Switch then connect nko PC1 and PC2 to the switch and holaahh, naa na internet connection ang duha ka PC.

I don't know what's the pros and cons for this connection and what's the difference between this type of connection to the one HOTVIPER posted above. What do u think guys?

    questions
mas hinay usb connection kaysa lan network?
if mogamit ka usb then isa sa lan wat if in the long run add ka another pc?
then if isa pc nimo mo act as server if ma off siya wala na net to isa dba?
so therefore the best way gyud gamit og router
    then e configure gyud
personal nako na try is kato netgear wgr614 naa option para gamitan siya laing mac adress
sakto mac adress cloning ang term..... effective na siya gyud
