Ang Dual core sa Intel mu-Init nasad ni og maayo?
i want to know how are going to power these dual core cpus with G70 videocard... nuclear reactors?
i think 200+w power requirement would be overkill...
mo init gyud bai coz Intel uses 2 Prescott 5XX cores..very known for its very high temp ..while AMD uses 2 powerful and cool FX53 cores...Originally Posted by brown_dog

yu can't always go wrong with AMD
waaaaa basul nako.batia jud ug LGA775. and to think prescott pa jud ang i-dual core. waaaaaaaa. prescotta jud oi
.
guilliam it really can't be that bad.. I think your mobo & CPU is l337 enough..
@tolstoi; yeah i read that before.. and AMD r00lz in that test. They did show the 840 EE to have an advantage though, over the X2 after they enabled HyperThreading (who can beat 4 logical CPUs in action?)... but still AMD showed as the clear winner because of low power consumption and best overall performance.

Latest DUAL Core shoot-out..Athlon X2 3800+ versus Intel Pentium Duh!
http://reviews.zdnet.co.uk/hardware/...9233885,00.htm
from zdnet:
AMD currently offers the most attractive dual core option. The entry level Athlon 64 X2 3800+ may cost $87 more than its Intel counterpart, the Pentium D 820, but the AMD chip is a much better performer . It also uses considerably less power. A typical Athlon 64 X2 3800+ system uses less than 100W, while an equivalent Intel-based system uses about 50 per cent more, so it will be easier to build a quiet office PC around an AMD dual core chip. The lower electricity cost could also be a significant factor in enterprises with several thousand PCs
