    @LytSlpr

    Uhm, there's no evidence whatsoever that the opposition ever asked Garci to cheat. But there is a clear recording of GMA discussing "yung dagdag" and "pagpapataas" with Garci.

    If they all cheated, let them all resign and be prosecuted. Dili ka nang pasagdan na lang because "everyone's doing it anyway". So if you see people looting in the streets... apil na lang ka because everyone's doing it anyway? Or at most just ignore them?

    And anyway, do you have any basis at all for your assumption that the "entire tape" would contain evidence of the opposition doing what GMA did with Garci?

    hinuon, dili angay pasagdan. pero obviously gi pasagdan sa mga nipasaka sa issue. kung gipasagsan sa supposedly "fighter for the people" that means ilang mga representatives, what more sa average tao?

    as for the assumption of the opposition's evidence with Garci.. I can only say, OH COME ON?! Mao bitaw wala gyud na mogawas ang TINUOD ug KUMPLETO na tape. Mao bitaw na tiwas na lang na ang issue sa kongreso. Para mahilom na ang tanan. Kay kung mo langtod pa gyud ning issueha, gasaba-saba pa gyud unta na ang opposition hangtod karon.

    even if there is hello garci controversy or not as long as the economy is up, dollar is strong, lots of project implemented particularly in cebu =) then everybody should be happy bout it..

    it's known that all politicians are no saints during the election, therefore what we should look up is the capacity/effectiveness of these politicians when they are in office.

    truth is..Erap cheated last election and won, but the people found him in-effective therefore he should be booted out..GMA cheated and won but people are satisfied with her performance therefore she must stay..simple as it is :mrgreen:

    @tolstoi

    I think you have it backwards... Erap, stupid as he is, won by a record margin. He may have cheated but I don't think it really affected the election results. GMA, on the other hand, won by the skin of her teeth, and her cheating defintely won her the election, in my humble opinion.

    Erap wasn't booted out by the majority of Pinoys, the "masa", but by the elite. One evidence for this is that EDSA 3 by all accounts outnumbered EDSA 2. GMA on the other hand has been consistently shown in recent surveys to be overwhlemingly unpopular, with a negative approval rating. So much for people being "satisfied with her performance".

    @LytSlpr

    s for the assumption of the opposition's evidence with Garci.. I can only say, OH COME ON?! Mao bitaw wala gyud na mogawas ang TINUOD ug KUMPLETO na tape.
    Still, just because the "complete tape" you refer to hasn't been "released" doesn't mean you can assume that it contains what you want it to contain. The bottom line is there's no evidence. But as for GMA cheating... there's a clear record of what she and Garci discussed, and pro-GMAs still tell people "Don't fret".

    1] of course, because supposedly they were not the ones who did the wiretap unless they "wiretapped their selves." i'll humor you.. considering both camps had the true copies of the conversation of course the opposition will ONLY release the edited copy that is advantageous to them and vice-versa. on the other hand the administration cannot also release the true copy because it is also like admitting that it was truly GMA on that tape, which probably siya gyud to. Â*can you see? stalemate sila tanan!
    and forget to point out that Chavit showed to the public a conversation kono ni ERAP on planning to assasinate GMA. So nisuway jud sila pagawas sa conversation sa opposition. Â*It's not really a stalemate, it's just that the administration has so many lapdogs.

    2] dili ra ang administration ang dili gusto mo prosper. Â*kung ang tibuok tinuod gyud ang GIPAGAWAS, SILA TANAN dili gusto mo prosper. Â*get the point? they wanted to end the impeachment coz legally they don't have a case and they wanted to end the inquiry for the same reason if they had enough basis they should have filed a case in the proper court and not do political mud slinging on national TV and make congress and senate their venue. Â*wala na man sad gi force sa opposition ang issue kay sila mismo kahibaw di to mo prosper legally but they attempted anyway, pamasin na lang. Â*in short, desperate attempt.
    yeah hiding in technicality... even caught red handed she can still say to the public that i'm innocent of cheating and bastardizing the election process that I myself swore to protect and uphold because the wiretapped conversations is not acceptable in court. Yeah let's rejoice for we have a ACTING president like that.

    okay.. okay.. then why did the opposition congressmen allowed for the probe to end? certainly GMA has no direct & full control over that.

    For all your above points sir, all I can say is, THAT IS POLITICS! and mind you that it works both ways. Mao bitaw ilang gi-ingon weather, weather lang yan. It may be worse in our country but just how it is in all other democratic countries unless you want communism applied here. I know it's a bitch but that is reality. EVERYBODY just got to do what we have to do because if we are really going to be too idealistic and emotional about it ma-frustrated lang ta ug maayo to the point na personally "ang uban" dili na effective to his own little societies, like family, work, friends. Sa sobra ka-frustrated, manaka na lang sa bukid or mag mutiny which will not do everybody any good and most of the times personal gain ra man gihapon or will transcend from idealism to being power-hungry. I personally don't want that to happen to me

    Mao bitaw "i-limit" na lang sad nato atong "love for country" because personally it is not worth it. That's why there are heroes. In a smaller scale, just like the call center EXACTLY the same reason I chose out.

    ohh... i just tought that he was booted out for being immoral and for plundering our money? Â*whaaattt... so if the economy was good by then ERAP could continue all his plundering jobs? Â*

    Let's take for example the employers... if the employer does give you high paying jobs but abuses you and engage in unfair labor practice... it's totally ok.

    GMA cheated and won but people are satisfied with her performance therefore she must stay..simple as it is
    i believe otherwise... people are not satisfied with her performance and the economy is still not good even worse that's why they are too busy making an end for themselves.

    Or people are just being hypocrite, kay ang taw nga nagpahawa ni ERAP tungod kono sa iyang pagka-immoral kay dili jud na mao ang tinuod rason... kay ang tinuod rason kay dili lang jud sila ganahan ni ERAP, plain and simple... they hate the person. was it because he plundered the money? NO! they just don't like him.

    EXACTLY, PRACTICAL LOGIC!
    i would call it twisted logic...
