Spawne32 is also a member of XS before he made that on OCpulse, i dont see the problem there.

Yes price is important and nothing beats a free cooler that does the job on stock and mild overclocking speeds, im giving you facts.

Doest the fact that the extreme is placed at 4th and the ultra at 2nd mean anything to you ?

a review from X-bit shows the TRUE performance is better

again we are not talking of stock.....

well i have seen some closer results..... its cheap... it comes with the fan already.... It gives the better value.... so money saved goes to other worthy components....

    Xigmatek I'm getting one....

We are talking about prices and cannot include specific coolers, or are you just nitpicking ?
And again im only referring to the TRUE ( Thermalright Ultra Extreme , incase the initials confuse you )performance and not price.

By all means go get the Xigma, im not stopping you nor telling you its a poor choice, if fact its a good alternative in comparison to the TRUE when both price and performance is counted.

Share your experience with the cooler once you get it, id be expecting some numbers soon.

I would trust if it came from the members of [H]ardOCP,VR-Zone,XtremeSystems but if it came from the staff i will have my doubts.

Well I don't see why it couldn't be trusted.

unless you have something that can refute their test results

No its not an updated version, The TRUE can also mount 2 fans, the IFX 14 is only able to beat the TRUE by using 3 VERY high CFM fans. the Ultra 120 is FAR from faced out today.

bottom Line the Inferno Extinguisher or IFX-14 combined with the backside cooler IFX-10 is the beast right now.
Can beat the Ultra 120 only with a single fan.
And oh the IFX-10 is included inside the package of the IFX-14. May need a big casing to fit this thing

    Here is some credible reviews:

well IMO...Xigmatek is a GOOD air cooler, but not the best. my money still goes to Thermalright.
i like the concept of its Direct Heat Transfer but...there are gaps between the pipes & it's not evenly flat.
i guess it's edge over the TRUE is that it is cheaper.
sayang man ang Xigmatek bro coz so far, only one review says they're better.

but only one way to find out...is to have your own experience with it di ba, then ikaw na personally maka-ingon it's better (besides ikaw bitaw mugamit ana)

good luck on your build!
