ok na imong suggestion kung dili problemahonon ang kwarta, kung naay kwarta ... ngano settle man ka anang 40D .. scrap the canon ... adto na lang D3 or hasselblad na 39mp.

di man sad basta basta low-end ng 350/400/d40 .. ug 99.99% shots sa 40D makuha raman sad na sa 350/400/d40.

kung unsa man ang kaya nimo paliton ron, palit na .. sayang ang oras molabay .. daghan pa unta ka subject ma piktyuran.

Bitaw, I tried the Hasselblad H2D. Mora gyud ka ug taga lain planeta adto nga camera. Sayop lang mi sa una nga wa mi mo-kontak dayon ni Mark Yap para sa studio shoot. Pang studio gyud tong H2D.

moral of the story here is, buy the best camera/lenses that you can afford. kung 25-30k ra imong budget, wala kay choice lain ... 2nd hand 400D or bnew d40 .. either one of them is a good choice.

for practice purposes, im from the old school and im biased on starting with film first. i'm sure daghan ka kahuwaman karon ug mga film nga SLR. if you want, pwede ka kapalit sa mga ahensya sa colon, mu range from 3-8 thou. at least sa film you learn to compose your shot properly, get the right exposure, depth of field, etc. before taking the shot. plus the thrill (for me) of not knowing how the pictures will come out once ma develop. if bati, then learn from your mistakes. at least you already know what not to do the next time.

sakto. but for practice purposes then wa pa kay saktong funds para mupalit ug digital SLR nga tag 20 thou nya second hand pa gyud then ako suggestion if panghuwam lang usa or palit ug bubarato nga film camera. lain suggestion is basa sad ug mga libro or articles sa inernet. sa ingun aning pamaagi, di mahimong excuse nga di ka kakat-on sa basic lang usa tungod kay wa kay digicam. basin pa diay mausab ang huna-huna nya kabantay ka nga ang photography di gyud diay para imo. hehehehehe

Is Canon Eos 400D enough for beginners like me to practice Digital Photography?

I use Samsung v700 in shooting my subjects... but I wanna try shooting using DLSR.

Where can i get (at least) cheaper Canon Eos 400D camera? I saw one in AVANT in Ayala.. it's almost 40k.
