    As I reflected on this.

I have come up with my own initiative.

Starting this sunday I won't be giving any money to the Church. Since they receive LOTS of CASH from GMA which is TAX Payer's money. I don't feel obligated anymore to give.

All the more when you see the similarities between PADRE DAMASO and some bishops in this country..... Money makes them look the other way.

    So TO ALL TAXPAYERS:

Stop giving money. SAVE your money. The Church is receiving TAXPAYER's money from GLORIA MACAPAGAL ARROYO.
salary tax is so oppressive...dagko kaayu ang kaltas unya mapunta ra diay sa corrupt hands tsk tsk tsk

naa untay financial expert dinhi makatudlo on how to beat the tax system

i did that one time in a bank coz i waited for two hours already. the clients were so pissed already but they were just murmuring in their seats. what i did was approach the counter and told the teller that service was too slow. she said, "unsaon man nga taas man ni iyang transaction."

pun-an ra jud unta tog teller para naay "express counter." napuno naman kuno na ilang suggestion box pero mao ra gihapon. so what i will do is that if maabot na gani ko ug 30 minutes, i will do that again--go to the counter and ask the tellers what is taking so long.

if daghan mo buhat ani, they will get the message: wasting of time is not tolerated.

All of us can inflict change even in our own very little ways.

We can be of great influence (good influence for that matter) in our own respective fields. Stick to the things of great interest (things that contribute to personal development) and do it by heart and impart it to others.

Imagine how great it would be if each and every person is utilizing their time properly and fruitfully.

Other than that, following simple rules and using common sense would make a great difference too. One good action will always rub off to others.

^right. it always starts with the self.

when like-minded individuals gather and promote a cause, the effects are even greater.

what kinds of socio-cultural movements/groups would you be interested in supporting or starting? kindly share your ideas.

what are your ideas for the following:

    1. filipino time- I try to arrive 1 hour before ang amo sabot nga oras
    2. establishments making you wait for hours- So far I always leave the place if they make me wait for long
    3. throwing of garbage anywhere- I try to throw garbage in a proper place
    4. smoke belching- I see a lot of that along the road. Hope the someone will penalize these people
    5. job orientation vs business orientation
    6. government corruption - unsa may konkretong mabuhat jud nato ani? - Don't give when you transact government agencies! Yell to them if mangayo sila. Government employees get good pay plus a lot of benefits.

    ug daghan pa
I buy products made locally or kanang naay factory sa Cebu or sa Pinas. I rarely buy imported goods. I think it is time for the government to teach Filipinos how to fish and not give fish. There are a lot of work available at present pero pilian lang ta.

Our group is inclined to sports. Aside from our practices, we allot time to help train kids (elementary and high school). Getting kids into sports is very productive and helpful. Way better than sitting all day and playing computer games.

One of our aims is to let them qualify for scholarships in college soon.

@cebu-future - any group you're currently supporting or thinking of starting? usually it starts with what we are very passionate about.
