yup, basically equivalent sa PSEi stock composition.
Instant diversification ang result by just buying a single FMETF....good alternative sa mga nag Mutual Fund. But be careful lang as it may become expensive compared to MF kun imo investment is around the minimum boardlot ra. Kun mga 5k or 8k sulit gyud kay at 8k imo transaction cost kay around .29% ra compared to MF nga around 2% or up if Philequity.

It should be a good buy but for now, huwat sa ko mahurot sa First Metro hurot baligya ilang shares. They have 7.5M shares to unload to the public. Mid to long term, this is good. This more or less tracks the index.

I thought ETF is based on a focused and selected stocks (e.g. properties or banks) and not the whole index stocks

    Question again

The price action of FMETF is purely based on index stocks performance?
It is not dependent on buyer/seller demand which has tendency to get manipulated?

Price action of FMETF is determined through buying and selling. It actually acts like a normal stock.
Di siya pareho sa mutual funds or UITF nga the NAVPS or NAVPU is determined at the end of the day.
The only difference between FMETF and other stocks is that FMETF is made up of index stocks, unlike stocks wherein they represent just a single company. But on how its price is moving, murag stock ang dagan sa iyang price.

Is there also fundamental analysis for FMETF?

Since it will have its own chart, definitely there will be technical analysis.
But for its fundamentals, it will be based on the average of all the index stocks?

Finally some Ichimoku elements showing bullish signals on EMP after the bounce from Kumo last November 27. Today we have a strong bullish signal from the Kijun Cross. This is considered strong because it happened above the Kumo or cloud. In addition, the Chikou Span agrees with the bullishness. Immediate support will be the Kijun Sen line which is at 11.48 To maintain the bullishness of this stock, price should close above 12.16 so that Chikou Span will continue to move above the price 26-periods ago.

RSI or Relative Strength Index is not yet on overbought level but is about to touch the line.

    Caveat!

Strong Bullish Signal via Kijun Sen Cross on EMP
