seriously though, if you can take a survey, how many people who bought the iphone make full use of it? most dont install apps and some just do out of curiosity and then dont use them after. the iphone is foremost a status symbol, however that is fading fast as more people now have iphones. its hip and cool to be different. to stand out. most people who bought the iphone have been due to the hype. Out of the box, the n95 trumps the iphone anyday on features alone.

these two shouldn't be compared in the first place as they are not direct competitors. much less on the same level.
those who like the look of the iphone should be considering other touchscreen device with 2mp cam and great multimedia feature.

the n95 is a 5mp multimedia phone and should be compared with other 5mp phones(since this seems to be the aforemost benchmark in mobile technology now - the race for higher Mp cams in phones.

i coudn't agree more on you bri.. the iphone and the n95 has each a class and level of their own.. comparing one to the other would be tantamount to comparing an apple to an orange...

The iphone has the most advance technology compared to any other cellphone and PDA's available today.
You can't find the multi touch technology on any other cellphones available today. If you would still insist on the features that the N95 has compared to the Iphone, these technologies are also available on other brands.

The Iphone is the best phone available today, sad to say only 43.8% of us here are smart enough to appreciate it.

Ang iphone kay beauty sa gawas pero sa sulod kay no-brains hehehe mura cyag phone nga nindot kaayo ug casing plus interface, pero ang unod kay 7650. mas angat pa gani ang 7650 kay mu record ug video (no fw update needed intall lang ka app), maka remote sa imo tv, stereo etc. make send/recieve contacts/files/mp3's/videos through bluetooth!

while stoneagedrain has a point on apple's multi touch technology, can that make up for the Stone Age specs of the iPhone.
In the age of 5mp phones and gps, HSDPA/HSUPA, etc., the iPhone surely is from an older generation. even the 7650 can take 2mp with just a program installed. has better sms functions and bluetooth capabilities. But if your main point is just the screen, then Im sure we can all respect your preference for liking the touch screen. and im sure when that liking fades, we can see another iphone for sale or trade in the B&S section.
Like i said in an earlier post, iphone is a status symbol especially in the early days since no one seems to have them yet. but now that's changing already and prices are dropping. thats why those who follow this kind of buying are selling already.

im in singapore. the iphone rage has died here and so many are up for sale already. before shops were always out of stock and you have to preOrder, now, stock is high. for those stil wanting to catch the fashion train are PreOrdering the 16Gb version.

n95 8GB, n82, SE w960, are the top picks now. And some exporting exotic phones from japan and taiwan like those from sharp with 3 inch screens fliphones with 5mp cams are also hot. these babies have the best screen in the market, non-touch screen of course. they are now using the Sharp Aquos technology. Even Toshiba and Sony are also using their brands on the screen. that's why these phones are HOT. and they are priced as high as an n95 as well.


anyhow, N95 is on the top class leading the way for mobile technolgy for now. However, our discussion on this thread will soon fade in to the back pages as the newest phones like n96 will soon be released.

Naa kay basis sa imong claim bai? Naa kai iphone or naka gamit naka sa iphone? The multi-touch interface itself ka hi-tech na ana. Its the only phone who uses it. Why do you people bash the iphone so much? You enjoy your N95 and we'll enjoy our iphones. All of us should be happy and thankful that we get own such devices.
