from my knowledge bro, if the said videos as what you stated are used for legal proceedings. Then it is not a violation, that's why there are cases and legal counsels to argue situations in court. Pero as we all know, kanang mga vidoes sa XXX, imbestigador and all are to portray illegal acts of people. In the scenario of AMALAYER, there wasn't any illegal acts but a mere ranting.

To note as well, before these documentaries andd hidden videos are published I believe the TV networks would ask participants to sign documents as well.

Yea I edited my post when I thought of this. As I said, even when lawyers know the client is wrong, they will often let the client file the case anyway so they can charge outrageous filing and appearance fees. In the end, the client is almost certain to lose the case, but the lawyer, having already collected fees has already won. And since most people don't bother researching the win rates of their lawyers (nor can they easily access this information) the lawyers suffer little to no damage to their reputation.

PS There are many very stupid lawyers in this country.

Anyone can file any case, but winning a case is a whole different matter entirely. Easy to file, impossible to win is a common situation here. Some lawyers have very low win rates in court.. a few even have 0 wins after 5 years practice.. imagine that!

The worst lawyers are only after the filing fees. In such a case whether their client wins or loses, they already "won".
That is true bro, but that is not what this discussion is about. Yes there are dumb lawyers in the country. But for the sake of this discussion, what is obvious is that this Gregory Llamoso violated the rights of these two women. As what I posted before, the situation in LRT could have been left out in LRT. But the act of him posting it online for the whole planet to see has subjected the two ladies to the negative effects of online bashing and ridicule.

We can all hate Amalayer for her actions, but if you try to analyze the situation..as much as the entire nation hating her. She is pretty much a victim, and her becoming a victim was a result of what the video poster has done.

Hate's a pretty strong word, I think for most people they probably feel pity for her, not because she's being bullied but because she made a fool of herself in public. This I think is the major flaw in our culture - our inability to hold the individual responsible for his/her own actions and our tendency to blame other people for the mess we get ourselves in.

This is classic shoot the messenger scenario. The person who uploaded the video, uploaded an event in an "as is" unedited form. Nothing could be uploaded if nothing happened. Something happened because she made it happen. Through her actions, she created the scenario that allowed the embarrassing video to exist. To put it simply, her actions made the scene possible, not the taking of the video.

Personal responsibility is something sorely lacking in this country as it is always someone elses fault when someone gets into trouble and people always try to cast blame where it doesn't really belong. Other countries have no patience for this. Just like the drug mules who were executed in China.. the media spins it as "the fault of poverty" or calls them "unwitting mules" and blames everything on "drug triads". Removing responsibility from the instigator of their own problems is a lame excuse that would never be accepted in countries that have a stronger culture of self-respect and responsibility. Let's learn to take responsibility for our actions, learn from our mistakes and move the f*ck on. Filing cases is a stupid waste of time, if she did this then I would have to stop feeling sorry for her and start laughing at her stupidity.

well, whether you like it or not...you my dear is not the bearer of this online madness. you are not a victim, you are not the uploader, so in the end it is up to those who are involve to do what they seem is right for them. In this case, a case against the uploader is being sought..and mind you, it is also the responsibility of the uploader to act a certain way which could saved him from being in a law suit..and plenty of lawyers are offering their services to amalayer bro bono or should I say for free.

So what was that again, that we should not blame people for our actions? Now, I find it funny because the way I see it....should the uploader blame Paula for acting that way that prompted him to tape and upload the video? and is now being chased for such privacy violation? lol...

So to borrow a quote from you "our inability to hold the individual responsible for his/her own actions and our tendency to blame other people for the mess we get ourselves in." ---- your dear friend Gregory Llamoso should as well be held responsible for his very own actions right? Now that I would love to see!

What a double standard stand on this issue!

I'm just an expectator, and by the looks of it. Someone is going to court with this one...whether you like it or not! lol!
