Thanks to all those who've been helping us out for the up and coming photo exhibit

The exhibit is entitled ELEMENTO as it is a play on the five elements of fire, air, earth, water, and spirit.Â* It launches 9pm tonight (Saturday, August 27) with a fashion show and party at the Theatro Casino, Waterfront Hotel, Lahug.Â* The exhibit will be on display up to the 30th at the Casino Filipino entrance.

Photographers are Mark Yap, my photography students, and me.Â* Do come

I'm still trying to figure out how to buy a digital camera & what is a good brand to buy. Then I post, so for the meantime I study works of other photographers here at Istorya.net and read magazine & books about photography.

I'm still trying to figure out how to buy a digital camera & what is a good brand to buy. Then I post, so for the meantime I study works of other photographers here at Istorya.net and read magazine & books about photography.

The best camera for you depends mostly on what your budget is and what you intend to be shooting. Don't base your decision on the brand but on individual cameras and specs. Every camera manufacturer has a mixed bag of winners and lousy models. The only thing you should consider in a brand is the manufacturer's after service (warrenty, local service center, etc...)

Some guide questions...
What body type to you need? The portability of a point&shoot compact camera or an SLR?
What features do you need most?
Do you want to be able to take movie clips as well?

I need a compact & an slr like camera. Like the fuji S9000 w/ 28-300 built-in lens. How much would this be & where would we buy it ?

This was shot in my office. My table was green so I placed a white bond paper beneath the crayons to add contrast of colors and to avoid clutter. I had a window big enough to provide light.
