but no seriously guys, the point being, esoteric/hermetic manner is still not acceptable in pedagogy whether, as reg points out it is a university That is CATHOLIC with all its biases and prejudices and limitations and dogmatisms or a in university that is secular.
@handsoff
as you'd also realize sir, my response was a reaction against the implication that Catholic Universities are blinded with their dogmatism to demonstrate academic freedom.
cheers!
OT:
FYI, the university that i mentioned earlier, is the Univeristy of Amsterdam. It is the first university to offer a graduate course on the study of Hermetic/Occultic History and Philosophy.

The university is not important whether prestigious or not. What is important is INTEGRAL EDUCATION!
The purpose of TRUE EDUCATION is this - to lead us out of darkness into Light!

The TRUTH is within us, but we have to become aware of that TRUTH; it is involved in our being, and has to be evolved out of it, which evolution is as objective as it is subjective. - N. Sri Ram![]()
Truth is the quest of every theosophist, whatever his or her faith, and every great religion reflects in some measure the light of the one eternal and spiritual wisdom. Each points a way toward the realization of Truth.![]()
of course, but i refer to prestigious only as a mark of credibility in pedagogy. "Integral Education" is a fancy. If your referring to Wilber, then it is still a fancy. Wilber is a mystic, and if everybody is a mystic, we we wouldnt be able to use this forum in the first place.
Since your an educator sir, you keep on pointing that out, would you teach all the mystic fancy you've been posting here say in a course on "behavioral statistics" ? Either yes or no, my point is made.
but i think you just made that remark because you cant give me one decent university that teaches such a course using the methodology of esotericism.
