Where on earth are you going to find places with zero percent crime rates? Only in lawless places since there are no penal codes to violate to begin with.
But fact is, in Davao City and Cebu City before, vigilante justice is a proven crime deterrent.
The chances of being hit by a stray bullet in a crime infested area is higher. So yes, I'm willing to take my chances. Ngano if accidentally mapusilan imo paryente sa usa ka police operation unsa man imo mabuhat? Same ra, igo ra ka muhilak.
the chance of being hit mistakenly by vigilantes is very low, compared to being one of the victims of petty crimes. I am not against vigilantism, I am hoping for reforms in policing the areas we live in.
And F**K CHR! "Where criminals are humans and victims are... well casualties?!"

It's normal for criminals to commit crime - that's what criminals do. But it's not normal for police officers or an elected official to incite and commit murder - that's not what agents of the State are supposed to do. You can't equalize criminal acts done by criminals (which is expected) with criminal acts done by agents of the State (which isn't normal).
You guys should listen to yourselves praise extrajudicial killings like it's some kind of normal, everyday activity. Try talking about your ideas to visiting foreigners and see what they think. They will probably think you are insane or crazy. This isn't the way normal people think, no matter how hard you try to convince yourselves otherwise. Hopefully someday you will realize how crazy supporting extrajudicial killings really is.
To those posters who live in a highly developed country like the U.S. and still support vigilante killings, why don't you leave the U.S. and live in Davao you hypocrites...

If ingana lang unta then dili na kinahanglan mo-resort to vigilantism/extra judicial killings.

^ Murag neighborhood watch man na ang imoha bro.. I'm talking about vigilantism like what is happening in Davao.
if we don't curb vigilantism, it will be become a uncontrollable. just like a "snowball effect".
if we look the other way for murderers and rapist and robbers. later on down the road we will start killing the petty offenders, errant drivers, shoplifters. so where do we draw to line as to who dies and who doesn'twho decides that?
it needs to stop now!
