How can I improve my dental health?

Hahhaha na unsa naman ni uy puros man DENTAL HEALTH! Hahah read on the earlier answers nalang para dili na mag balik balik akong mga tubag! hehehe Brush 3 x a day and most especially at night before sleeping.

Should I change my toothpaste or floss more?

no need to change toothpaste. Pareho ra na sila tanan uy! If it has FLUORIDE then it is GOOD! But yes, FLOSS every now and then! Ayaw lang sad e everyday kay maka daut sad na siya sa gums if grabeh kaayo ka maka floss.

Should I use a fluoride rinse?

Not really. If imung toothpaste already has fluoride, okay nana. Ayaw na palabi=e ehheh

What kind of anesthesia is used, if any?(if mag paibot, root canal etc)

Lidocaine ang common anesthetic used. Pwera nalang if allergic ang patient to that, then you would have to change anesthetic. But usually, okay ra man. HIyang ra man most people ana.

How many procedures have you preformed in the past year?

Murag ubay ubay nasad! Hehhee

What percentages of your patients have had significant complications?

Complications meaning? Complications sa procedure WALA. If complications nga dili nako sila ma treat because of an underslying condition, naa daghan. I ALWAYS send them back to their general physician to check their health and ask for a medical permit to perform operation or whatsoever na surgical.

Will you repeat or correct procedures if it does not meet agreed upon goals? And if the procedure must be repeated / corrected, will I be charged again?

Yes, kay dili man gyud na dayun ma perfect on the first try and a few adjustments every now and then needs to be done. Charges, not anymore if it is still thesame case. But if it is another procedure, then of course, charge gyud.

May I see "before and after" photos of recent patients?

As of the moment, wala ko naka take ug mga before and after pictures of patients kay akong trusty camera has been kidnapped by my mother. I need to buy a new and more high tech one if ever I would start focusing on taking pictures of patients.

Could I observe the exact procedure I am considering before I decide to have it done?

Yup! Depende unsa na procedure imung gusto and depende asa na clinic. Kay if dinha where I am working now, I am afraid my boss is kinda strict about visitors viewing. Hehhe Pero if sa AKO na clinic in the future, why not coconut! ehhehe

Dili siya maka daot sa ngipon but YES maka stain! Having colored teeth really stains the teeth. not only coffee but coke too and orange juice or any colored drinks.

3) unsaon pagpaputi sa ngipon aside sa toothpaste?naa ba muy ibontang ani?

Naay IN OFFICE Whitening which costs around 25k, read in my earlier answers. Naa sad take home which is around 8k pero e PM ko if interested mo kay I can give you a discount.

I think water fluoridation would be a nice thing, but that is if EVERYONE has connection to MCWD water supply which is safe for all.

Prevention is better than cure you know.
If everyone has access to pure safe water that is treated with Fluoride, then that would really be great. Another thing is FREE ORAL CHECK UP every now and then which has already been done throughout the year in I think all areas of Cebu or the Philippines.

And another thing, EDUCATION of our oral health and all should always be implemented!

1. What's the most important lesson that you've learned from being a dentist?

Daghan man! Hehhe pinaka importante, not feeling pain does not mean the infection is OVER. Not completing your 1 week prescription is BAD not only for your health but for the GERMS or INFECTION. How do you think new resistant strains of viruses or germs are created? Mao na siya! ehhe

Another thing, it is NOT how fast you are or how on time you are at graduating but it is how you deal with things and your patients that makes you a good dentist or person for that matter. Wala mana sa palumba-ay or paunhanay. Dili tanan dentist or doctor imung pangutan-un maka hatag ug simple explanation sa ilang diagnosis or even a diagnosis for that matter. Another thing, dili tanan DEAN's LIST mu excel at passing the board exam with flying colors. Mao nay sulti na ang buhay at weather weather lang! If na retain gyud sa imung head ang imung na tun-an before, then maayo. But if okay wala kay hagbong pero pag abot sa board exam take 3 ka, aw kana, you have to consider taking a look at yourself where did you go wrong.

Daghan! Not only achievements but what I am capable of. Let's put it this way, people who are CRAB MENTALITY who stab your back and spread lies about you even if they don't know you, they are people who are scared.

Remember: People are afraid because of FEAR OF THE UNKNOWN! hhehee tinuod na! Mao sad na sa PEDO PATIENTS or KIDS, they fear dentist's because for them the experience is NEW and something they are going to go through na wala silay choice unless ang parents consintidor sa ilang mga anak! Hehhe

3. Was there a time in your life that you have wished you have met other lovers before you got married? Why?

Uhmmm, yes. But then again no life or marriage is perfect. Every marriage always has its flaws. I could have chosen the one I was sooooooooo in love with na mura na ug gebuya sa akong parents pero ge bastos ra ko (Worst date thread nako) or I could have chosen somebody among the list of Ex's I have been with. But then at the end of it all, what I am proud of with the one I am with right now is that I am 100% sure na love gyud ko niya no matter what and that dili gyud siya mag binuang nako. Murag mas AKO pa hinuon mubinuang kysa siya! Hehhehe Joke!

4. What makes istorya.net fun for you?

Ang CHIKA, meeting new folks, adding up new people to my list of potential clients, patients and friends of course. Hehhe Knowing a lot of new things or situations sa family or love or views of others about life etc. If the world is so intricate, ari ka kakita sa examples ana! hehehe Peace!

TRICKY QUESTION! Hehhhe hmmmm tooth pain involves bone naman gud and soft tissue so mao na siya and it has tendencies to spread sa surrounding areas of bone or tissue! (Refer to my earlier posts about the DIMPLES) Aside from that, there is also such a thing as referred pain where in ang nag sakit imung ngipon and yet mu abot sa imung ulo ang kasakit. That is thesame with 3rd molar impaction na sakit gyud kaayo ang teeth ug ang ulo dapit sa may temples. Ana siya kay there is pressure involved whether it is because nag push sya to come out or because of an infection that has not calmed down or is getting worst plus wala pa gyud tumari ug tambal.

With Stomach pain man gud, I guess it is because it is internal and soft tissue ra involved which is ang stomach ra. Aside from that, taking meds for it plus warm compress could do the trick in keeping it at bay enough to make you sleep and relax. With tooth ache or pain man gud, somehow if it is pushing or giving pressure, everytime it does, mu pulsate and mu radiate gyud ang pain.
