Those who have joined fraternities... what was the main reason, why you wanted to join the group? Hope you can give an honest answer... unlike most of our leaders of this great nation.
di ko kasabut anang mga frat frat kon unsay tumong ug tuyo nila....![]()
there is nothing wrong with the fraternities/sororities... it's the members (the BAD ones) who makes s#!+ out of nothing.

APO is a very prominent and distinguished fraternity and sorority but why di they run butt naked during their anniversary
Im talking about naked running inside the campus for maybe half an hour , see thats the thing right their what majority of you guys n gals who are not familiar or educated about fraternites and sororites . You guys always single out AKP n TGP because thats what you hear and thats what you see though not reralized . HTH and enlighten you .
FK - The reason I joined AKRHO my beloved fraternity are :
- saw great leadership and structure way before I was a full pledge member
- true essence of brotherhood and sisterhood in time of not only in ups but of downs too
- first fraternity to be chartered in the Philippines to as an INTERFRATERNITY of all courses in University of Sto Tomas
- missions and goals are to help and give service
These are my honest reasons why I joined , sounds like BS to you but im not forcing you to believed in me for im the member and not you anyways . Im the one doing the services and im the one gaining good leadership and im the one enjoying the true brotherhood n sisterhood .

naa koy question.. ngano e beat-up paman ang gusto ma member.. besides the reason para ma hibaw-an ang loyalness, dli raba nag spy, para ma kita nga tarong nga member..
the word or term frats use " brotherhood " is a complete irony to my current understanding.. please enlighten me daw.. para dli kaayo mo bati akong views anang frat ( not that im going to join 1, lolz )
There is no such thing as i beat up . A little of physical here and there is true and im not gonna deny it and to some point naa na namatay sa initiation namely AQUILA LEGIS and correct me if im wrong LYTSLPR sa TGP somewhere in NCR or Luzon abput 5 to 10 years ago .Originally Posted by [EarlZ]
The logic reason of the term " BEAT UP " is to test the neophytes body and soul to a certain point if he or she is really worth to be a part of that group . The term you used is I assumed the term INITIATION w/c incorporates the test that includes wisdom , intelligence , psychological , and mental . A really good and clear example I can compare to that EARLZ is I presume ur a girl ?? , just put urself in these scenario ...
In a say a league of basketball where pride and honor is involve because you and ur team thinks ur the best around , you will bet ur BLOOD , SWEAT , TEARS to get that championship TROPHY and very proud of it becasue of the accomplishment carried by ur blood , sweat and tears and not because of cheating or any sort of way to get it easily . That would expound the same way as fraternities and sororities that kung mahimo lang buhaton tanan as long as ul be a full pledge member of that said organization , you will try ur very best to accomplish that feat becasue you will be in that very group as along as you lived , compared to " FULL PLEDGE " members who got in easily and a year after forgot everything because he / she did not give value to that INITIATION for they got in easily . You can be a quitter of a fraternity or sorority just by failing the stage of initiation where you are not mentally fit , its a stereotype that most quitters quit becasue of gi KULATA kaau and wala nakaya sa lawas , that is URBAN LEGEND my friend .
