[color=navy] When people complain this much over what many believe to be trivial things, it is usually because they can do nothing more but just complain.... and apparently have the time and energy to complain on and on... time and energy better spent in transferring to and trying other academic institutions and their policies or just focusing on one's studies to acquire the degree to get out of the academic institution as sooner as possible.

lots of good schools out there nowadays, unlike before nga USC ra ang dungog kaau. Pwede gani mag modularize nalang unya study at home nalang.
instead of wasting time protesting murag mas viable to try other forms of education and other educational institutions.

Do you really believe you are protesting for the whole community? kay kesyo dili kahibaw mosukol ang lower years? do not under estimate them. They know what they are doing. Kung kanang pioneer nag-uniform (meaning 3rd yrs karon) kay napugos na sila kay they were not consulted.... how come hinfollow man lagi ang mga 2nd ug 1st yrs karon? kahibaw naman nah sila daan nga mag-uniform (maski wala pa nah naka-reflect sa student's manual nga dili pa updated) so ngano hin-enroll pa man sila? kung dili pa nah sila kahibaw mo obey sa school policies then wala nalang unta sila nagpa-enroll sa USC. That way ma-alarm unta ang admin nga puros nalang females ang ila students kay wala kauyon ang mga males sa uniform policy so ila gi-boycott ang USC.

miss, dile pa time mo boycott... aguroy gi sayon sayon man hinu.on nang boycott... miss when you have spent a whole year paying your tuition fee (others parents money; other self supporting) then mo balhin raka just for the sake of boycotting, then that is unnessesary. when you say boycott bug-at kaayo na na word. dile na madali-dali...

[color=navy]Actually, a boycott appears to be the only way if one wants for an organization to change. Think of it as an organism-- if an organism doesn't have a food supply, it must make changes in its habits or approach death via starvation.

Imagine if a boycott does occur, the school sees a large decrease in its population of incoming and enrolled students, its cash flow becoming a drip, unable to pay for its employees and utilities. Now, that's a BIG problem for the school.

The school must enact changes in its policies in order to deal with this problem For a school isn't a school without students.

If one wants to get the upper hand during a negotiation, one has to have 'leverage'. The greater the leverage, the better. And I don't think there is a more better leverage than a mass boycott. It is an action that speaks loud enough for administration to take notice to do something about it, louder than words uttered in criticism against the school.

But if one feels that a mass boycott is too drastic or too difficult to do, then apparently the grounds for protest seems to not be worthy of such an action.

And when is the RIGHT time for an action to occur, be it a boycott or other? Shouldn't be the right time be NOW if one wants to have a immediate resolution to the matter? I just feel if one waits for the right time it might never happen at all and soon people will get used to the new policies while those who have protested against these, well have moved on to other matters, to other priorities.

[color=navy]^^Magsanay na mo kay most companies require their employees to adhere a dress code, others a uniform code.

A person in a uniform indicates that person got obligations, priorities, relevant matters to attend to, to be responsible for, and a job to do.

even as artists do we have to wear our uniform? as writers do we have to wear our uniform? we don't have to wear that silly piece of cloth so that we will look professional. we can be professionals in our own way. i remember a teacher of mine once told me, there is no such thing a professional student. no matter how smart he is, he is still a student.
