alan wilder was a great loss for depeche mode, but the songs would have been darker, like their last album Songs of faith and devotion (1993) and alan wilder's projects, recoil.
But if it were Andrew Fletcher, there would have been no change.
(frankly I dont know whats his role on depeche today)
...their latest album, Sounds of the Universe is just awesome!

yep dako gyud og nawala and DM pag quit ni alan wilder.. nahan pud kaayo ko sa side project ni alan na recoil...
wa man gyud kaayo ni contribution si Fletch sa DM.. tagaan raman ni siya og parts ni Martin og ni alan.. more on spokesperson ni siya sa DM ..
siya kasagaran ang motobag sa mga interviews, more on manager pud ni siya..
ang dako gyud og impact sa DM kay si Alan, Martin og David Gahan--- though gamay ra pud gisuwat na kanta si Dave but more on Charismatic man gud na frontman si Dave...
I still cant Imagine Depeche Mode without David Gahan.... ang voice gyud ni David Gahan ang trademark sa DM .. daghan kaayo nangupya ni David Gahan gud.. namely Camouflage, Cause and Effect, Red Flag, Information Society etc...
basta naa si Dave, Alan og Martin payter gyud kaayo ang DM..
David - the voice
Martin - The songwriter
Alan - the lead keyboardist, the one who is responsible for those dark weird, atmospheric sounds...the only member of DM who has a formal training in music.. has a classical background...

Ganahan pod ko aning Depech kompleto kog cassette sa una pero gipang hatag na nako sa akong igagaw tanan kay nawala akong hilig sa new wave pagka dungog nakog mga classic rock nga bands. Pero nibalik akong hilig karon sa DM tungod sa ilang bago nga album.
Bawion diay to nako akong mga cassette tapes kay rare na kaayo to. hehehe
