How often dow we apply car wax

from what i have read sa mga car magazines dili man daw maayo mag cge ka og wax coz mokaon man daw na sa pintal ang resulta kung dili naka mag apply mu pughaw jud imong pintal kung dili na maaplayan..

then also mas dali ang wear and tear sa imong pintal kung mag wax ka coz dili mana advisable gud...

that depends on what type of wax you are using. the main purpose of applying wax is to protect your car's paint so kung madali ang wear & tear sa paint then i think its not wax you are applying.

I agree with this statement... I wax my cars 3 times a month , need to make sure you know the product you are using ... maybe you've heard it from people but I never put car shampoo on my vehicles

Why no shampoo? How would you remove road grimes especially on the lower part of the vehicle? I believe shampoo will soften the dirt and grimes...

So your saying Shampoo for lower part lang of car? because I don't use it sa Body, that was my point, Body of car.

Call it from my personal experience, i've been keeping tabs on automotive for 15-16 years ... I am very meticulous with my cars especially with paint , now maybe we differ with how we use our cars and application , but for the year or two i've used shampoo ni pughaw gyud ang paint on body, versus washing it then properly applying wax. I may use shampooing for under part (this I agree with you), tires and rims but since I omitted shampoo from body , it remains bright , shiny. Hope that helps

Ahh maka pughaw diay.... Also below the beltline of the car body especially near the tire area, i think it needs shampoo coz it gets a lots of road grimes jud and lisod au ma tang2x pwede ra kaha gas?

Yup , again this is my opinion on not using shampoo sa body cause I'd hate the big companies to say we have like a gazillion years of data shampooing is fine ... but I and some detailing friends, even the kids washing cars off the record say less or no shampooing of body is good.

As for GAS, Nooooooooooooo! hehehe , gas is placed on rubbing compound after an expensive paint job, to soften compound. I'd say if there's something stuck on the lower part of car , maybe .... but thats rarely ... most of the times grime and mud can be taken out with normal process.

how about using dishwashing liquid soap like joy, etc... does it do the job? htanks

regarding sa shampoo if i use it akong na notice sinaw kaayo ang car but dali rasad kaayo mo pilit ang abog.. is it also true with others?
