You are right Mr. Pinoyapache. That bridge will spur economic development bet. the 2 provinces and even our neighboring provinces. Actually, dugay na na nga plan. I first heard that from PROMDI, former Gov. Lito Osmena's party. The first thing to do is to reclaim a 2000 hectare shoreline in Cordova. Aron nga duol na lang ang Getafe after sa reclamation. The reclaim land will become an economic zone. Through that, pwede na makatrabaho ang Boholanos sa Cordova Economic Zone. Plus the exchange of goods and services between the 2 provinces and tourism too. I guess, PROMDI has a feasibility study about that. The only problem was Lito O. didn't win the presidency in 1998. Likewise ang Getafe and other areas in Bohol will also develop.

Also included in the plan was Cebu-Negros Bridge. Mas dali pa ni kaysa Bohol. Duol na lang kaau ang Negros from Toledo.

This would not remain a tsismis if only Lito O. is active in politics. But sad to say, majority didn't vote for him. Now, he's getting older. Hopefully, someone will be as smart as Lito O., if not smarter to realize this plan.
