do shoes make the man? *shrugs* all i know is they take me to places.

i have 6 kinds of shoes:

my ever dependable wash-and-wear sneakers from Benetton, Keds, Nike and Lacoste which i wear all the time except for ocassions when i need to dress up. i take them on vacations and i like to wear them at the beach or at the malls. probably, these are the pairs of shoes i have that are not stress-inducing.

high-heeled stilettos and strappy sandals which i bought from the only store i trust Janilyn. i only use these if i'm going to upscale restaurants. wearing them always makes me wanna take them off and run barefoot to my comfy slippers when i get home. but i love them nonetheless.

loafers from Bass which i used in college. i love them they were so comfy but the first 2 weeks i was using them, they gave me blisters!

my soccer shoes from Puma and Adidas. i played football for 5 years. they never failed me.

Nike and Vans slippers and Carvil and Birkenstock sandals... for the rainy days. i don't wanna ruin my shoes when go out in the rain. this is the only time i expose my toes but i arm myself with alcohol.

dr. martens. my 6-hole boots and 2 mary janes (3A59 and 8065). spells quality and durability. they are excellent for just any activity. unfortunately, i lost my boots and my 3A59 MJs nung inakyat-bahay kami. sad.

i decided not to include the others... well, they were just passing whims. use them once or twice then they get to stay in their boxes until i give them away.
