kasuway nko ni Dr. Ordonez, Dr. Verallo, Dr. Cabahug, Dr. Canete

haha....let's just say........ their meds work for pila ka months but my pimples are just really stubborn

Dr. Ordonez & Dr. Cabahug -> you have to endure their pricking and stuff on your face... which I really can't take anymore

Dr. Verallo -> gi kasab-an ko ani nya so not going there anymore

Dr. Canete -> mu prescribe ni cyag Oral Contraceptives kay iya man itarget imo hormones. This is the one that worked for me jud...but di man gud ko ganahn mag cgi pills kay manambok ko samot haha

so now ka self-medicate nlng ko

Sis, depende ra na sa imong getup. If you look rich and saucy, she will be very nice with you jud. But if you visit the clinic in slippers... you know what happens. The same goes for the pricing. I think the good doctor Bernad will base the charges on how you look and how much you can afford. Good to know the branch in SM now posts the standard charges. The assistants are good and friendly though.

I am now undergoing Isotane treatment from Dr. Bernad. I'm on my 3rd month and so far, I'm satisfied with the results. I only have scars na lang and she said she can't do any major laser treatment on my scars not until I finish my Isotane treatment. Now, I am only having IPL (alleviates redness and lifts the scarred area, that's according to her) every visit, that would depend sa akong availability kung kanus-a ko makaadto niya. Hehe. I'll just have to wait until I finish taking Isotane and I'll see what she can do with the scars. But with the pimples, I am already more than satisfied.

And regarding her attitude, she's really kind and accommodating. Maka impress iyang PR, unlike others nga murag naay wall between the doctor and the patient. With her, its just so comfy. And the staff as well are well mannered.

I'm excited for my 6 month to come.

I've been trying to find a good product that would remove my pimples but to no avail. Although, I only have mild acne, it still bothers me and I figured that since I inherited my pimple prone skin from my dad so wla na jd chance mawagtang ni ako bugas-bugas sa ako face, chest and back.

But thanks to this thread, I had the guts to try a dermatologist, si Dr. Verallo. On my first visit, I was too nervous because of some negative feedbacks I’ve read about him like he’s strict and too straight forward etc… But our first conversation was pleasant.. Although I was his last patient for that day, he was patient on answering my questions and he was still able to deliver instructions properly on how I will apply those cream… Well, personally, I liked the way he converse with me, he’s a professional and it made me decide to go back on his instructed date.

Well, for the meds he prescribed, I had an oral antibacterial med to stop growing of pimples (according to dr. verallo) and 3 other creams for my face, chest and back acne. My first few days was like too unbearable for me, I feel like my face was burning in hell, and it was so red, dry and peeling. I was just so lucky na holiday to and wala kaayo nakabantay sa ako face. But after a few days, my skin grew accustomed to the prescribed creams and it made me realize na patience ra jd diay ni ang kailangan. One has to really endure the pain to get positive result.

Right now, I’m on my 2nd month of treatment and na minimize/prevent jd ako pimples. Although, expensive jd siya. But what the heck, we still deserve to be beautiful, one just needs to be patient, to follow instructions regularly and believe on your doctor.
