sorry sa mga frat members ug sa mga na igo.
we can't take that away from you [Earlz]. but in AKP, women are respected and loved. and that's how i'm gonna say it because that's what i saw. and i have seen young people changed so much as they were reborn(as new skeptrons). changed from being too childish, hard-headed, abusive, and all @#!* into new productive individuals...

and that's how i'm gonna say it because that's what i saw... coz that's everybody in my family. my cousins are even encouraged by their parents to join, not coz they too are members but coz they knew it will help.

AKP is not just a fraternity, it is a FAMILY.

    Earl:

pick any dictionary, and you will never miss the words organization and brotherhood. what most lay men think of fraternities are the collegiate fraternities. most collegiate fraternities are greek-lettered. that is, obviously, naming the organization with greek letters from apha to omega. fraternities are not exclusively collegiate. simply speaking, a fraternity is a group of individuals having the same idealogies and or interests.

hazing has been prevalent with organizations not just fraternities. as always, there is a reason for everything; from the sensible to the nonsense. most greek fraternities nowadays no longer condone hazing as part of rituals and rites. on the contrary, some still keep the tradition.

joining a fraternity para mo sikat or para ingnon astig is but very petty. in a fraternity, there is more to that. real understanding, mind you, never comes with prejudice.

if fraternities were just a bunch of "young and old kids who have nothing better to do", it would be so surprising how learned men who have contributed so much for the betterment of our society be members of fraternities.

if fraternities are so bad, how can it be so good?

being an ex gf of a tau gamma grand triskelion or GT as they called him has made me paranoid of "tambays" even in well lit streets at night...i have had my share of traumatic days thinking whether my bf will be shot/get into trouble when he was invited to gatherings like birthdays and fiestas. well he was a just leader and never encouraged any cat fights among members..but heck, boys will be boys...i dunno what benefit he sees in that frat thingy..made his loved ones worried sick to death when news of shootings come out in superbalita!!! ...ambroottt nila mangita jud ug labad sa ulo!!!
