Whose the real QUEEN City of the South? Cebu? or Iloilo?

Iloilo is the Queen's city of the south. (kay sa tanan ciudad ni revolt sa una sa spain ang iloilo ra ang wala, so their claim is kind of historical)
while Cebu is the Queen city of the south. (dunno how cebu got one, pero im sure na it got its monicker bec of the growth it has and the importance it got in the entire country.)
But what is important is kung kinsay gi acknowledge sa whole country as queen city of the south, people from other parts of the country only knew cebu as the queen city of the south.
While ang Sinulog tinuod na ang festival sinunod ra, but sila may ga una they have the chance to make ways nga ma improve pa nila to attract more tourists, but look at our sinulog, we should be proud of ourselves na ato na nadevelop and napanindot pa ug maayu na nahimo na nuon ug pinaka sikat ug pinaka engrande na festival sa tibuok nasod. suya lang sila kay ang sinulog mas daghan pa visitors and mas engrande pa compared sa festival nga sinunod ras ila.

and another interesting tale I heard (not sure if its true), before Iloilo was the most progressive city in the country aside from manila because of the striving sugar industry in the country... pero look at them now, nahibilin naapsan nas daghan city diri sa pilipinas.
They think that they deserve to be in Cebu's place, well let them have those names and other adjectives nga pwede mahatag sa ila... padayun lang ang atong paningkamot mga bisaya nya kung mulambo pata makadungog napud tag lain pasangil gikan nila.

dili gyud na mahitabo magdungan ang dinagyang sa sinulog bai since 1968 every 4th sunday sa january gyud na. Kng ibutang nila ug 3rd sunday makig compete na sila sa ati atihan festival kay 3rd sunday sa january pod na i held...basin mahutdan sila ug turista ana kay mas mother of all festivals baya ng ati atihan.

Mao ng g tawag na Queen City of the South kay it was the last capital city sa Spain before gi baligya sa US ang pinas.

Didto ko Iloilo City last Jan. 18, 2012 for certain project, grabe jud pangandam sa LGU Iloilo, Jan 17 palang, gi pang close na ang kalsada kay dli na paagian then gi rerouting mga sakyanan for the preparation of "Dinagyang Festival" to be held in Jan 20-21. Supposed to be the schedule sa festival is dungan jud diay sa "SINULOG SA CEBU" that was supposed to be Jan 15, pero ni claim ning usa ka Political leader sa Iloilo nga bacn kuno mawad-an ug mga tourista ang CEBU kung i dungan, so mao ila gi move...
Do you think Iloilo can bet Cebu? "NO WAY"....Cge nig advertise sa abs-cbn ang ilang Dinagyang Festival kay tua man ang Mansion sa mga Lopez sa Iloilo, ang tag-iya sa abs-cbn....

Why Cebu gets the title

- ilo ilo was given by the americans (colonial master at that time) the title "queen city of the south" and loses it's title after a tragic calamity struck where the early ilonggo pioneers like the arroyo's aranets, et. al migrated to nearby islands and one of the bright city that time is no other than - cebu
- cebu was given that name again by the americans since no other city as vibrant and strong (and still is) as the new "queen city of the south". filipinos already knows the answer if someone ask what's the queen city of the south and it's cebu
